Hair Transplant

HAIR TRANSPLANT OPERATION PHASES

Stage 1
Assessment of vital functions

It should be learned whether the patient has a known disease (heart, diabetes, blood pressure, etc.)
It should be questioned whether he/she smokes or drinks alcohol and if so, when he/she last used it (if alcohol has been consumed in the last 24 hours, bleeding problems may occur!)
In addition,
It should be learned whether he/she has used any substances (if used, the anesthesia may have a very late effect)

Evaluation of the area to be planted;

In this explanation, it is given whether the nape area is compatible with the area where the transplant is desired, if it is compatible, the procedure can be done in a single session, if not, 2 sessions may be needed.

Stage 1

Determining the front line
At this stage, a line that suits the person’s age, gender, facial features, and emphasizes naturalness is drawn

Stage 3
Determining the area to be taken

The number of roots to be taken from the nape of each patient may differ from each other.
They may be sparser in the back of the ear area than in the middle areas, or the number of roots per cm2 may not be suitable for frequent
extraction. In order to avoid a bad image after the operation, the donor area should be evaluated well and the number of roots to be taken should be calculated.

Stage 4
Donor Area Local Anesthesia Stage

It is the process of numbing the area where the grafts will be taken with local anesthesia so that the patient does not feel the pain that will occur during the operation.

Stage 5
Taking roots from the nape area;

Hair follicles are taken one by one from the donor area between the two ears with the help of a micromotor with a 0.6-0.8 punch at its tip. After the hair follicles taken, namely grafts, are completed, they are arranged in groups of 100 in petri dishes containing a special solution.

Stage 6
Transplantation Area Local Anesthesia
application;

This is the stage after the extraction process is completed. The front line area is anesthetized with local anesthesia drugs. A small amount of adrenaline is applied to the area where the channel will be opened. (to reduce excessive bleeding)

Stage 7
Opening Canals

The depths and diameters of the hair follicles to be planted and the holes to be planted are determined. Then, the holes where the hair follicles will be planted are systematically opened. At this stage, it is extremely important to open the directions in a straight manner in order to provide a natural and open skin-covering appearance.

Stage 8
Hair Transplantation;

This is the stage after small holes are opened in the planting area. The process is carried out by 2 people. At this stage, it is extremely important to plant the roots without damaging or breaking them.

PROCESS AFTER THE OPERATION;

Day 1 Status

It is quite normal for a slightly bloody appearance to occur. In order for the transplanted grafts not to come out of their places, the person should be extremely careful, prefer clothes that button in the front, and be careful not to hit his head anywhere.

At this stage, he will be asked to use antibiotics, painkillers, and stomach-protective drugs (5 days).

Day 2 Status and Washing

This is the stage where the transplanted roots are attached to the channels by 30%. The washing process starts from this day.

Washing; Foam is applied to the transplantation area and the reception area and wait for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. Then, it is washed with a suitable shampoo after washing. It is extremely important to wash the hands by gently tapping the transplantation area, not by rubbing it. This process should be continued for 10 days.

Day 10 Status;
This stage is the last day of washing. After the 10th day of washing, there should be no crust in the transplanted area, only the hair roots should be visible. After this stage, the hair has taken 100% hold, and the risk of the roots coming out of the transplanted area has completely end.

After this stage, it is necessary to be patient and wait for the end of a year. If any unexpected situation occurs during this period, you should consult your doctor. And to make sure that the process is progressing correctly, it is recommended that you send photos to your consultant once a month or at least every 3 months so that the process can be followed closely
